A red Chevrolet Tahoe

From the luxurious interior to the astounding power, the Chevrolet Tahoe stands out from all other SUVs on the market. The 2024 Chevy Tahoe has three high-powered engine options, spacious seating, and fun tech features.

Engine Options

The standard engine on the Chevy Tahoe is a 5.3L V8 gas engine that produces 355 horsepower at 5600 rpm with 383 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm. The available 6.2L V8 engine offers 420 horsepower at 5600 rpm with 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm. The strongest option is the available 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine, which yields 277 horsepower at 3750 rpm with 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 1500 rpm.

Seating Configuration

The Chevrolet Tahoe has a 2-3-3 seating configuration that includes two front bucket seats, a manual-folding 60/40 split second-row bench seat, and a split-folding 60/40 third-row bench seat. The driver’s seat has 10-way power controls, while the front passenger seat has 8-way power controls. These include Forward/Back, Up/Down, recline, and lumbar adjustments.

Technology and Connectivity

The 2024 Tahoe has an 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that provides helpful resources and a selection of entertainment options. With wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, you can connect your phone to the SUV for a personalized driving experience that includes hands-free phone calls. This system also has SiriusXM satellite radio compatibility, offering countless music stations, live sports games, and real-time news reports.

Assistive Driving

The Tahoe’s Chevy Safety Assist package contains six different driver-assistance functions that make every ride safer. For example, Forward Collision Alert monitors the area in front of your SUV and alerts you when the distance between your Tahoe and another vehicle begins to rapidly close. Other features in the Chevy Safety Assist package include Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Following Distance Indicator.

Safety Features

On top of Chevy Safety Assist, the 2024 Tahoe also comes with Teen Driver, Rear Seat Reminder, and Buckle to Drive. Teen Driver is an innovative feature that collects data every time your teen drives the Tahoe. It uses this data to create an in-cabin report card that shows important safety alerts, such as how often your teen exceeds the speed limit or activates the Forward Collision Alert function.

Rear Seat Reminder is a critical safety feature that prevents small children and pets from being left behind in the Tahoe accidentally. When you go to exit your SUV, Rear Seat Reminder uses an audio and visual alert to remind you to check the back seat. Buckle to Drive is another important safety feature, which blocks you from shifting the Tahoe out of PARK until your seatbelt is fastened.
